समानजयात् प्रज्वलनम्॥४१॥

By the conquest of the current Samāna he is surrounded by a blaze of light.

जितसमानस्तेजस उपध्मानं कृत्वा ज्वलयति ॥ ४० ॥

Vyasa Bhashya (English Translation)

Having mastered Samana, the yogi fans the internal fire and causes it to blaze (effulgence). || 40 ||
