Patanjali Yoga Sutra 3.37

Sanskrit Sutra

ततः प्रातिभश्रावणवेदनादर्शास्वादवार्ता जायन्ते॥३७॥

Swami Vivekananda's translation

From that arises the knowledge belonging to Pratibha and (supernatural) hearing, touching, seeing, tasting and smelling.

Vyasa Bhashya (Sanskrit)

प्रातिभात्सूक्ष्मव्यवहितविप्रकृष्टातीतानागतज्ञानम्। श्रावणाद्दिव्यशब्दश्रवणम्। वेदनाद्दिव्य-स्पर्शाधिगमः। आदर्शाद्दिव्यरूपसंवित्। आस्वादाद्दिव्यरससंवित्। वार्तातो दिव्यगन्धविज्ञानमित्येतानि नित्यं जायन्ते ॥ ३६ ॥

Vyasa Bhashya (English Translation)

From Pratibha comes the knowledge of the subtle, the concealed, the remote, the past, and the future. From Shravana comes the hearing of divine sounds. From Vedana comes the perception of divine touch. From Adarsha comes the cognition of divine forms. From Asvada comes the cognition of divine tastes. From Varta comes the cognition of divine smells. These invariably arise [from that Samyama]. || 36 ||
