Patanjali Yoga Sutra 3.31

कण्ठकूपे क्षुत्पिपासानिवृत्तिः॥३१॥

On the hollow of the throat, (comes) cessation of hunger.

जिह्वाया अधस्तात्तन्तुस्तन्तोरधस्तात्कण्ठस्ततोऽधस्तात्कूपस्तत्र संयमात्क्षुत्पिपासे न बाधेते ॥ ३० ॥
Vyasa Bhashya (English Translation)
Below the tongue is a nerve/thread (tantu), below the tantu is the throat (kantha), and below that is the hollow (kupa). By making Samyama there, hunger and thirst do not afflict [the yogi]. || 30 ||
